The integration between Bilberry and GetYourGuide allows you to connect your products and availability in Bilberry with the global travel marketplace of GetYourGuide. Manage inventory, pricing, and bookings in one place, while reaching a wider audience through one of the world's leading activity distribution platforms.
Bookings made on GetYourGuide are automatically synced into Bilberry, reducing manual work and helping you maintain full control and oversight across all sales channels.
Bilberry supports integrations with the following Online Travel Agencies (OTAs):

GetYourGuide (GYG)
To integrate Bilberry with GetYourGuide, please send in a request through our Support Channel. They will prepare your Bilberry Instance for the integration and enable access.
Once this is done, an additional button will appear in the product list →
Enable GYG Settings in Bilberry
When the support team has prepared the Bilberry instance for the integration, you can go ahead and add the settings in Bilberry:

Navigate to the product list (Products → Products).

Click the GYG icon
to the right of the product you want to sell through GYG.

You can also click the product name and then click the Get Your Guide tab.

Fill in the following information in the GYG Integration settings:

A mark-up increases the product price on the GYG side, and can be used to cover extra costs or increase profit.
If the product costs 1 000 NOK in Bilberry, and you add a mark-up of 200 NOK, the price displayed and sold to the customer in GetYourGuide will be 1 200 NOK. |

Commission |
Enter the commission percentage that GYG takes for the given product. If the value entered does not match GYG’s actual commission, it can cause follow-on errors and result in inaccurate reports. |

Get-Your-Guide Guest list mappings |
You link (map) the Bilberry guest list fields to the GYG fields. When a customer orders a ticket through GYG, they need to fill in certain fields, like name and email. This information can be retrieved using guest list fields in Bilberry. |
Product Settings in GetYourGuide
When the settings have been added and saved in Bilberry, the next step is to add the settings in your GYG login space. Go ahead with the following steps to connect the products:

When logged in to GYG, at the top of the page, click Manage → Products. This takes you to your product overview.

Navigate to the product by clicking on its name, or clicking See details. This takes you to the product page.

In the top right corner, click Edit product.
-
In the left side menu, click Options.
-
Find the product option you want to edit and click Edit option, or scroll down and Create new option.

Click Connectivity settings in the left side menu.
-
Select Yes, I use a reservation system when asked if you are using an online reservation system.

Select Bilberry from the drop down menu as your Reservation System.
-
Paste the External product ID: Copy and paste the GYG product ID that was generated in the GYG settings of the product in Bilberry.

Click Continue.

Then click Availability & Pricing in the left side menu.

Select the Price per person option.
-
Click Add new pricing.
-
Select if The price is the same for everyone, eg: per participant or if Price depends on age, eg: adults, child, senior, etc. In the picture below we have selected the last option due to a few more settings having to be set in this option.

Determine the Age range on your Pricing categories, and add/remove price categories if needed. In the top right corner is the possibility to show/hide advanced settings, and make edits to these.

Click Save and continue.

Next step is to determine how many participants (minimum and maximum) you can take per booking. This should match the capacity set on the product in Bilberry.

Click Save and continue.

Select Yes when asked if you want to apply the prices that you have specified in your resevation system.

Select No when asked if your products have tired pricing.

Click Save and continue.

Jump past the next step about Add-ons by clicking Save and continue.
In the last step, GYG is validating your Availability & Pricing settings. When it is done, you will see a green successful message.

Click Save and continue to finish the settings review.
When a booking is made in GYG, a placeholder reservation is automatically created in Bilberry. This placeholder holds the spot until the booking is either completed in GYG, deleted, or times out.
The placeholder booking uses the email address placeholder@bilberry.no and will be replaced by a real booking if the reservation is successfully completed and paid for through GYG.
Limitations
If you have trouble with the connection between GYG and Bilberry, you can follow the tips under to troubleshoot and possibly solve the issue yourself.
GYG does not support partial refunds.
When you change the price of a product in Bilberry, the price does not automatically sync to GYG. Therefore, when you update the price in Bilberry, you also need to update the price in the GYG portal to ensure they match.
Troubleshooting
If you have trouble with the connection between GYG and Bilberry, you can follow the tips under to troubleshoot and possibly solve the issue yourself.
Check Product Connection
This section indicates whether the product is correctly connected to Bilberry. If the product is not listed as connected, integration may not be properly set up.
Schedules & Prices
Ensure that schedules and pricing in GYG match those in Bilberry. This includes changes on minimum and maximum entrants. Also, check the availability settings to confirm alignment.
Further Troubleshooting
If everything appears correct in GYG, but issues persist, check the following in Bilberry:

Availability in Bilberry: Make sure the product has availability in Bilberry and that the availability is not set to closed and/or locked.

Correct Price Setup: Make sure the prices are linked up correctly (including backup prices), and that no prices are set to be 0,-.
-
Price and Availability Alignment: Make sure the prices match the actual availability and that the prices mapped in Bilberry are configured on the GYG product. When changing a price in Bilberry, you often need to do this on the availability, and not only in the general product settings.

Different Price Types: Keep in mind that all price categories added to the same Bilberry product, needs to have different price types to work properly.

Caching Delays: Changes in Bilberry may take up to 24h to reflect in GYG due to caching time.
